Your 10 Way Necklace™ comes in four pieces: a 39cm / 15.4in single strand, a 40cm / 15.7in triple strand and two 9.5cm / 3.7in feature connectors, each finished with magnets. Every piece joins every other piece, so you simply slide them together to create 10 different styles, from a classic single strand to a layered triple strand, a lariat, a belt or a bracelet. What's the difference between a 10 Way Necklace™ and a 10 Way Bundle?
The 10 Way Necklace™ is the necklace on its own: a 39cm / 15.4in single strand, a 40cm / 15.7in triple strand and two 9.5cm / 3.7in feature connectors, which join together to make 10 different styles. A 10 Way Bundle gives you that same necklace plus a pair of Mini Connectors for extra length and, in most colours, a matching tassel (our Paperclip Bundles come with the Shimmer Paperclip Pendant instead), so you have even more looks from day one. Buying the pieces together as a bundle costs less than buying each one separately, and both come in our magnetic storage box.
Which colour should I choose for my first one?
Start with the colours you already love to wear. For one piece that goes with almost everything, our neutrals are wonderful first choices: Black Crystal, Platinum Crystal, Champagne Crystal and Cream Pearl. If you love a pop of colour, our crystals come in a rainbow of shades that mix beautifully as your collection grows. Crystal, pearl and natural stone batches can vary very slightly in shade, and customers often tell us the colours are even more beautiful in person. Still deciding? Which magnet colour should I choose: rose gold, silver or yellow gold?
Go with the metal you wear most, and your 10 Way Necklace™ will sit beautifully with the rest of your jewellery. Our magnets are double plated with rhodium (silver), real rose gold or real yellow gold. If you'd love to add pendants, tassels or connectors later, sticking with the same magnet colour keeps everything matching. Love mixing metals? Our Transition (two-tone) Extenders join one metal colour to another. A few colourways come in one magnet colour only, so check the options on each product.
What is it made of?
Each strand is threaded on strong, nylon coated jewellery wire (known as tiger tail) and finished with our magnets, which are double plated with rhodium, real rose gold or real yellow gold. Then comes the sparkle: depending on the colourway the beads are sparkling crystal, lustrous pearl (our Cream Pearl is real freshwater pearl) or natural semi-precious stone, and each product page tells you exactly which. Our jewellery is nickel free and suitable for sensitive skin.
Are the magnets strong enough? Will it fall off?
Yes. Our magnets are the perfect strength: strong enough that they won't break away from each other while you're wearing them, yet easy to slide apart when you fancy a new look. The secret is to slide, not pull. Hold the little loop on each magnet and slide the pieces sideways to separate them. As with any bracelet, just take a little care if it could catch, say when you're slipping off a jacket.
Is it easy to put on if I have arthritis or find clasps fiddly?
This is exactly why so many of our Sparkle Sisters adore it. There are no tiny clasps to fiddle with behind your neck. The magnets simply click together, so you can put your necklace on and take it off yourself in seconds. Many customers with arthritis or limited movement in their hands tell us it has let them enjoy wearing necklaces again, and we just love hearing that.
Will the single strand fit my neck?
The single strand is 39cm / 15.4in and sits close at the base of the neck. Prefer a little more room? It's so easy to add length: pop in a connector, a pair of mini connectors or an extender, or wear the 50cm / 19.7in Medium Strand Necklace in its place. Many customers simply use one of the two feature connectors that come with the necklace to lengthen the single strand.
Does it come in a box?
Yes! Every 10 Way Necklace™ comes in our magnetic storage box, which holds each piece neatly in place and keeps everything together, so your sparkle stays beautifully organised.
